Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you use xvibers.com ("xvibers", "we", "us"), including the blog, app ideas, Built with vibes, the newsletter and Vibe Coding School. By using the site or creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. Who we are

2. Your account
You need an account to share projects, vote and join the school. You must be at least 16 years old. Give us a real email address you control: we use it to confirm your account, sign you in and reach you about your account. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to it.
You can stop using xvibers at any time. To delete your account, write to hello@xvibers.com.
3. What you post
Projects, profile details, links and anything else you submit stay yours. You give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, show, resize and share that content on xvibers and in our newsletter and social posts that promote it, for as long as it is on the site. Screenshots we take of your project's public page are used the same way.
Only post things you have the right to post. Don't post anything illegal, deceptive, hateful, sexual, malware or phishing, spam, someone else's personal data, or projects that aren't yours. Submissions are checked (partly automatically, with AI) before they go live. We may decline, edit the presentation of, or remove any submission, and suspend accounts that break these rules.
4. Our content
Articles, app ideas, lessons, videos, prompts and the site design belong to us or our licensors. You may use what you learn, and the starter prompts and code snippets, in your own projects, commercial ones included. You may not copy, resell or republish our articles, lessons or videos, or share your school access with others.
App ideas and articles are general information, not business, legal, financial or tax advice. Ideas are based on public complaints and our judgement; we don't promise that any idea will make money. Some content is written with the help of AI and reviewed by us; it can still contain mistakes. Prices and features of third-party tools change often, so check them on the tool's own site.
5. Vibe Coding School membership
What you get. Access to all lessons and videos while your membership is active. Some lessons are free for everyone. We add and update lessons over time and may retire outdated ones.
Price and billing. The membership costs the price shown on the school page before you pay (currently $10 per month), renewing automatically each month until you cancel. Optional add-ons are sold separately and only if you choose them.
Who sells it. Payments are processed by Stripe through Link, which acts as the merchant of record: Link sells you the membership, charges you, adds any VAT or sales tax that applies in your country, and sends your receipts and invoices. Link's and Stripe's terms also apply to the payment. We never see or store your card details.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your profile (Account → Manage billing) or on link.com. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for; we don't charge you again after that.
Refunds and your right of withdrawal. If you live in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Because the lessons are digital content you can use right away, at checkout you ask us to give you access immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once access starts. Even so: if the school isn't for you, email hello@xvibers.com within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund that first payment in full. Renewals are not refunded, but you can cancel any time before the next one. This doesn't limit any rights you have by law.
Price changes. If we change the price, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you, so you can cancel first.
6. Newsletter and emails
The weekly drop is free and sent only after you confirm. Every issue has a one-click unsubscribe link. We also send emails you need for your account (codes, sign-in links, security notices) and, if you're a member, about your membership.
7. Ads and links
Some pages show ads (delivered by Affizy Network) and links to other sites and tools. We aren't responsible for third-party sites, products or offers; check them before you buy.
8. Availability and liability
We work to keep xvibers online and accurate, but the site is provided "as is", without guarantees that it will always be available, error-free or fit a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses (such as lost profits or data), and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €50 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Ending your access
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law, or put the site or other users at risk. If we close a paid membership without a reason you caused, we'll refund the unused part of the current period.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the site changes. We'll show the new date at the top and, for important changes, email account holders before they apply. If you keep using xvibers after that, the new terms apply.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. Please write to us first so we can try to fix the problem. Otherwise, disputes go to the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania, or the courts of your country where the law gives you that right. Consumers in Romania can also contact ANPC (anpc.ro).
